Head Last Mile Technology

What we are looking for:

Lead & Execute the Research & Development for Planning /Designing and Operating the technology ecosystem for delivering wireline Internet & TV services by Stitching Multi vendor platform in coordination working with multiple technical functions with a focus on steady and stable Broadband & Video Services .

Required skills:

• Deeply Understanding the technological gaps and issues related to networks & customers in broadband last mile ecosystem which comprises of multiple stitched IP networks on Switches , OLT ,ONU and capability in resolving them in coordination with internal teams and the vendor either performing operational changes or new developments .
• Support the Chronic issues related to technology which mostly includes mass outages /Partner Network Fallouts / Specific device or hardware/Software -Firmware /bug fixing.
• Research & Development of new product line for access networks ( FTTH/CATV/IPTV/ME) by driving the Excitel standards with multi vendor integrations .
• Encourage Consistent & Continuous Compliance & process are followed by Partner team and vendors with standards/Protocols/Regulatory Requirement & Safety .
• Extensive interactions with multiple teams ( internal & external) to understand the requirement or problem areas with a thought of planning & designing the solutions and overcome the problem areas .
• Anticipate potential problems and proactively give suggestions to peer teams in areas like process adherence, technology up gradation/ optimization, better service delivery & support .
• Involving & Closely Working with FTTH Planning team for planning and deploying robust Wire line Networks
• Evaluates new technologies and build Automations and processes by closing the gaps in daily Operations.
• Evaluates viability of new technology and service offerings for continued company development and expansion.

Who will be preferred:

• Solution Architect preferably from Telecom System Integration Company with expertise in FTTH product development and planning / Telecom Broadband Wireline Networks.
• Expertise in building best fit technologies at Wire Line Access networks for delivering Internet & Video services .
• Knowledge on IP with core competency on building the data & video call flows ( Routing/Switching/Authentication/Security/)from Core till the last mile customer device .
• Experience in Planning / Managing /preparing the roadmap using various Access Devices ( OLT/ONU/Switches) for multiple last mile broadband deployments ( ME/FTTH/FTTP)
• Exposure in handling the installation, commissioning and maintenance of a wide range of broadband network equipment ( Switches/OLT/ONU/WIFI Routers) from various TIER 1 & TIER 2 Vendors.
• Positive attitude , leadership qualities , well organised , take Ownership with excellent written & verbal communication skills .
• Understanding of CPE( FTTH ONU) functionality , utility , working , building new features benefiting the customer and improving the QOS
