Technology Engineer

Objective:

Looking for a candidate who can manage Ftth related devices integration and troubleshooting. Look after the escalated devices and network issues with major focus on resolving faults and building resilience with improved quality of service.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• To handle centralized network operations of Excitel Broadband Pvt. Ltd. for PAN india.
• To monitor IT WAN & LAN Network at all location for load, resource utilization and VPN
• To monitor network incidents and finding out the root cause for troubleshooting.
• To coordinate with partner and help them to resolve the network issues.
• To coordinate with various teams for tedious tasks (NOC Team/System Team/ Field Team).
• To configure switches (Cisco, Huawei, D-Link, TP Link, Edge Core etc.)
• To configure GPON/GEPON devices.
• To work on ME, GEPON and GPON, Hybrid Network.
• To work with change management and security incident protocols.

Key skills:

• Should have good Knowledge in network & related issues troubleshooting.
• Should have hands on experience on router, switches and PON devices and deal with network connectivity LAN, WAN and MAN.
• Should have experience in communicating and documenting incidents to include cause, action, and solution as well as root cause analysis.
• Should have LAN configuration knowledge - STP, RSTP, MSTP, Vlans, VTP, Trunks, Ether channels, High.
• Should have knowledge of DNS, DHCP, PPPOE, AAA.
• Should have good understanding of FTTH (EPON/GPON -OLT/ONU), Metro Ethernet (MEN technologies) (Understanding of various last mile technologies of network).
• Should have knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting load balancing, primary/secondary paths.

Educational Qualification:

• Any Graduate/Diploma
• CCNA preferred
• 1-3 years of experience
• Possess technical knowledge
